Call for Papers
We invite archival and non-archival submissions on all aspects of linguistic style in NLP.
Topics
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Language modeling and generation
- Integrating style in pre-training, post-training, and decoding; personalization and style steering in generation; style transfer; new style datasets.
- Measuring style
- Representing and measuring style at different granularities; new non-neural and neural approaches to style; cross-modal and multimodal style representations and tasks; style of domains like code; explaining and interpreting learned representations.
- Applications
- Authorship attribution; style-based AI text detection; forensic and literary analysis; anonymization and style obfuscation.
- Linguistic aspects of style
- Theoretical and corpus-based work on style related to computational modeling; position papers on desiderata and limitations of current methods.
We especially welcome work on multilingual style, low-resource languages, and non-standard varieties, as well as submissions that engage with the dual-use nature of style technology (for example, impersonation or deanonymization risks).
Submission types
- Archival papers appear in the workshop proceedings in the ACL Anthology.
- Non-archival papers are presented at the workshop but not published in the proceedings, so they can be submitted elsewhere.
Papers can be submitted directly through OpenReview or committed with reviews from ACL Rolling Review. Formatting, page limits, and the submission link will be announced with the first call for papers.
